Great Games For The X-Box 360

So a buddy and I have been playing the new Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 for the X-Box 360, and let me tell you all something it is addicting as hell.

For about two weeks straight we have been playing this game. It’s one of these game where you just can’t beat it in like three days. For one thing you got to build you a character that you build up for the game. This may take awhile but once you get all built up the game is fun as hell. In the beginning the game will be tough as hell with the shity clubs the give you. But when you start to win tournaments, the game will give you money so that you can purchase new clubs and new clothes, this will help you build up your character.

You will have to build up you abilities. But if you save up enough money you can purchase some clothing that maxes out all your abilities and what not.

But all and all Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 is a great fucking game to play with a group of friends or just by yourself.

Camping Again

So like I was saying in the previous blog about the little camping trip that I went on. I didn’t know that it would be so much to have a good time, but it was all worth it. I told you all about the tents, and the air mattress. Now I am going to talk to you all about the other shit the I needed as well.

The other thing that was very useful to all of us was Leather Man. For one thing everyone was asking me ” You Got A Knife” “You Got a Can Opener” You Got Something to Cut This With”

Also you need a good ass flash light when you go camping. If you don’t get a freaking flash light you are screwed. Believe me you need a good flashlight around the camp site. Because you cant hardly see shit when you are heading back to your tent are where ever you end up sleeping.

Last but not least you need a place to park your ass when you are sitting around the camp fire. So I would suggest that you get one of those foldable chairs that you would pick-up at like Wal-Mart.

Went Camping-Float Trip

So here is the deal I went camping last weekend, and I didn’t know that it would cost so much to go camping. First of all i didn’t not have a freaking tent so I had to look around and try to find the best deal on tent. Second of all if you go camping these days you need an air mattress for god sakes. I remember when I was a kid growing up that you just slept on the freaking ground. I had the sleeping bag i wasn’t to worry about that. Third of all you need a nice cooler to get. I don’t mind getting all these things for 3 days of fun, and believe you me it was fun as FUCK.

Just to sit around and spend time with good ass friends and to get away from your town or city is a great time. I had a blast and is going to do it again next month. So you all have a free weekend look up you nearest camping grounds and get out and get away from all the drama in your town or city. Go and get some some country air, its good for your lungs.

Just Got Done Seeing My Older Sister Graduate From Basic Training

So early Sunday morning I got back from Ft. Jackson. I was lucky enough to see my older sister graduate from Basic Training from Ft. Jackson, S.C. So me and my brother in-law took off last week on a Monday afternoon. First we went to my little sisters house down in Oak Groove, KY. Which took a little bit of time, but all and all went well. So Monday night we get to my little sisters house and I’m so excited cause I have not seen my nieces for like a year and what not. We stayed there for like 2 days then took off on Wednesday around 2200(that’s 10pm civilian time) and mind you guys it is a eight to nine hour drive to Columbia, S.C. from Oak Groove, KY.

So we end up arriving to Columbia S.C. around 0900 and needless to say we are all tired as hell. So by 1000 we have to be on Ft. Jackson for Family Day. After looking around the Battalion for a while we fainaly locate my sisters company.

Seeing my sister for the first time was absolutely mind blowing. She had manage to loose 25-30 pounds in Basic Training. She looked so good and for the first time a saw my older sister proud of herself, she had a smile ear to ear. She could not stop smiling, and let me be the first to tell you all I am very proud of my older sister. She accomplished what 23 other people couldn’t do in her platoon, she fucking completed Basic Training. She didn’t quit, she didn’t say “Drill Sergeant I wanna Go Home.” She didn’t fail her P.T test, and she didn’t let all the younger soldiers get to her because of her age. Goddamnit she is a Trooper. So big ups to older sister. Which is now going to A.I.T where she will excell because she is to damn smart.

Yet again I am proud of my older sister who just graduated from Basic Training, and now my older sister has my six if you all know what that means. SGT Skully out………

At Ft. Campbell Visiting My Little Sister

So my brother in law and I took I trip down to Ft. Campbell to see my little sister and my nieces. The drive wasn’t that long at all, just felt long with the little on in the back seat. We took off about 1400(2p.m for you civilians) and it took about an hour to get out of town, you know how that all goes, run there, do that, do this, and did you freaking forget anything and if so its to late to get that shit now.

So heading out of town was kinda of an adventure in its self. First we had to make sure that we had all the necessary stuff for the trip down to Ft. Campbell, like enough food for the little one, enough diapers, enough baby wipes, enough shit to keep the little one entertained and what not. So needless to say we arrived a little late with all the stops that we had to take with the little one. But we all made it safe and all in one piece.

So we arrived at my little sisters house around 1830(6:30 p.m for you civilians) I finally get to see my little nieces. The oldest is 5, and the youngest is 3 years old. The oldest one recognizes me but the little one is a little shy around me, because she does not know me all that well. So needless to say all day yesterday these little kids wore me the hell out. I guess I’m not as young as I thought I was. We spent all day outside playing on their bikes, jumping on the trampoline, and me running after my littlest niece. Let me tell you all something she is fast as hell on her bike. Then after that I played a couple of games of Candy Land with the oldest. I made the mistake of telling her i didn’t know how to play. So we kinda played the first game with her teaching me how to play, but all in all I had a good time getting my ass handed to me playing Candy Land. I think that she won 4-1 out of five games.

So later on that night my sister and I decide to Rock out on some Rock Band. I’ve hardly played this game but I happened to like playing Rock Band with my little sister, even though she is way better then me at this freaking game. I was playing the guitar and she was on the drums. I was doing OK on the guitar then we switched it up a little she took the guitar and i took over on the drums. I’ll tell you all something I have no freaking rhythm at all, those damn drums whoop my ass. I think that’s the last time I will try the drums on Rock band. All in all I had I great time though.

My Older Sister Is About To Graduate Basic Training

Like I was telling you all before my older sister joined the Army. Well this month on the 27 she will graduate from Basic Training. She has been gone now for all most 2 months.

At the start of Basic Training it was a little tough for because she is not used to all the yelling and screaming that the Drill Instructor’s do. But in due time she has gotten used to all the discipline and the military bearing that you learn at Basic Training.

She is excited about going to A.I.T but at the same time she is missing her family. I told her that it will only get easy after Basic Training and A.I.T. I also told her when she gets to her permanent duty station her time in the Army will be a lot easier.

Her day will start off with a P.T. formation at 0630, she will do P.T from 0630 to 0730. Then most likely a formation at 0900 for work call, then she will get off around 1700 depending on the day and how the work schedule is and the work load.

So I am very proud of my older sister and I can not wait to go down to Ft. Jackson to see her graduate from Basic Training, because she was the only one to come see me when I graduated from Basic Training back in 1999. So good job to my older Sister. SGT Skully Out.

Little SIS This Ones For You

So my little sister checked out my blog about two weeks ago, I guess she got a little upset that I forgot to mention that she was also in the Army for 7 years as well. She was also an NCO stationed out of Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. She was been deployed twice to Iraq. The first time when she was deployed she was in Mosul, and the second time that she was deployed she was in Taji.

I know that both of these deployments where tough as HELL for her because both times she had to leave her because she had to leave her beautiful daughters behind when she was deployed. I know she is much stronger than I, because I don’t think I could have done all that, leaving two beautiful daughters to go on a Deployment to Iraq. So I have to give mad love, and much respect to my little sister.

When I found out that my little sister was going into the Army I really wasn’t to happy about her decision, at first she wanna to join the Air Force but I didn’t get the full details on why she didn’t get into the Air Force it wasn’t my business at the time nor is it now. When I found out she was going in the Army I think that I was on my first deployment at the time. When I called home one day using those shoty ass AT&T phones my dad put my little sister on the phone and then she told me that she is joining the Army. I has pissed at the time but what the hell could I do about it. Shit I was deployed in Iraq, but I tried to talk her out of it, but I guess my words of wisdom didn’t get through to her.

I guess the Army wasn’t too bad for my little sister she is one tough Bitch, she has my 6 for life, and if you don’t know what having someone’s 6 is ask someone that is in the military and that has had there boots on the ground in a war zone. So little sister this blogs for you.

How to Get Promoted Faster

How to get promoted faster in the Military is to go to College while you are in the Military. For one thing your College Credit Hours count for promotions points in the Army, for every Credit Hour that you have in College it counts as 1.5 promotions points in the Army. Also you will need to a good qualifying score with you individual weapon. Another thing that you will need is a good P.T. score. There is also this thing called Military Education that you will need to get started with as soon as you get to your unit, will you need to set an AKO account and start doing Correspondence Courses. This Correspondence Courses will take a little bit of time but if max them out it is well worth the time and effort that you put forth on theses Courses. The other way to get promotions points are with Military Awards in the Army. Some of these Awards consists of an A.A.M, Good Conduct Medal, A.R.C.O.M.

*Commanders Points(Max)=150
*Promotion Board Points(Max)=150
*Weapons Qualification(Max)=100
*P.T. Score(Max)=100
*Civilian Education Points(Max)=100
*Military Education Points(Max)=100
*Military Awards Points(Max)=100

With the total maximum points that you could possible get is 800 points. If you max out all your promotions points you are one High Speed Soldier. So like I said when you get to your Unit get on your shit to get Promoted to an NCO. But remember with more rank there comes more responsibilities.

What Soldiers Like While They Are Deployed

Another great thing that soldiers like while they are deployed is Mario Kart for the Nintendo Wii. This game is a great game for all soldiers that are deployed or just chilling at home or in the barracks. You can play up to one to four players at a time.

I didn’t think that I would playing this game at all untill a buddy of mine had to track it down one day. For one thing this game for some reason is really hard to find around here, so my buddy and I spent four hours to find Mario Kart for the Wii. But in due time we found this game in a neighboring town that is about twenty minutes away. So we had the store hold it for us untill we got there to purchase this game, and the department store was so kind and held Mario Kart for us. The store only two left as well and they held one for us.

So he gets back with the game and like a said I didn’t think that I would like playing this game at all, but let me tell you all something when I first played I got hook. It was like going back in the day when Mario Kart was on the Super Nintendo gaming system, brought back great memories. The first time a played Mario Kart on the Nintendo Wii I got hooked and my buddy got hooked as well.

So I would recommend you picking this game up for you soldier or picking this game up before you deployed and don’t for get to pick-up extra steering wheels and extra controllers for this game. I’m sure the whole platoon, squad will want to play Mario Kart as well.

Items That Soldiers Would Like While They Are Deployed

Here are some more things that soldiers like when they are deployed. For thing soldier like the newest and hottest shit that is out in the United States. For example the newest and hottest shit that is out on DVD or BlueRay.

Soldiers like DVD Box Sets, they also like the newest shows that are out on T.V. as well. While I was deployed for the second time in Iraq my Platoon Sergeants wife taped the show Contender for us to watch. Also Big Brother was another big hit for us to watch. Also Gaming Systems are a great hit with soldiers that are deployed. So pick a Wii, X-Box 360, PS3, and PSP.
